These are some of the features of the site:

  • Users may elect to be automatically notified by email or SMS of certain new or changed content based on specific criteria.
  • Users can Bookmark specific content which appears on their account page so they may reference it easily later.
  • There is a contact form with different categories (Webmaster, E-TEAM, Spirit Wear, etc.) where users can send a message to the person designated for that category.
  • Users can sign up for Events of various types, as an Attendee, a volunteer, and also for paid events.
  • Shopping cart.  The site currently supports paid events, donations, Enrichment, and Spirit Wear.
    • Most shopping cart items require Students First & Last Name to be typed in, along with a drop-down of Teacher/Classroom to facilitate in-school delivery.  Annual giving require the same in order to track participation, and "credit" classrooms.
    • Enrichment products also require a Student Disposition drop-down (Creative Kids, Pick-up, etc.)
  • Browse the Calendar of events by Month, Week, or Day.
  • Users can apply to join Dads and Dudes, specify themselves as Parents, Teachers, Staff, or other groups.
  • Most content has a set of AddThis icons which make sharing content (Facebook, Twitter, email, etc.) very easy for users!
