Lottery applicants are strongly encouraged to hand-deliver their completed applications to the front office during its normal business hours. (8:00a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Monday-Friday). Fully completed applications meeting the lottery deadlines will be date stamped when received. Parents of students with applications in the lottery may observe the lottery process in person. Charter lottery applications only will be used to fill grade level specific openings at Encino Charter Elementary. On the day of the lottery drawing a priority waiting list will be established by grade level. Being on the waiting list does not guarantee admittance to Encino Charter Elementary. The number of available seats in each grade level may not be determined until late July or after the opening of the school year in August. Once the number of seats is determined, enrollment offers will be made. Seats may not be available at all grade levels. Applicants chosen for enrollment will be notified by phone or email of their selection. Offers must be accepted within three days and the enrollment packet must be returned within one week of the phone call offer to secure enrollment at Encino Charter Elementary.
