Message from Mrs. Koff, our Principal

Encino Parents, Students, Staff and Community,

I would like to welcome all of our new and returning families to Encino Elementary for the 2011-12 academic year.  The 2010-11 school year was a great success at Encino.  We welcomed new staff, introduced new programs and witnessed our students making great academic progress.  Our new API is 936, an increase of 20 points over 2010, exceeding our academic growth target.  Congratulations to our students, teachers, support staff and parents for their hard work in the pursuit of quality instruction and academic excellence.  This year we are welcoming five new, talented and highly qualified teachers to the Encino family. 

The Encino staff is looking forward to working with you and your children, to promote a positive school environment where all children can learn, thrive and reach their potential as scholars and citizens.  Our teachers, administrators and staff will work with parents and our community partners to make Encino Elementary an outstanding school serving all of your children.  We will need the commitment of all of our stakeholders to make this academic year one of continuing accomplishment and success.
