Traffic Duty
Big Cars. Little Kids. It's all about Safety...
At Encino Elementary we strive to keep our students, staff and parents safe. Please review the volunteer schedule below to see when your classroom’s parents are scheduled to provide traffic duty.
- Remember, there is NO drop off in front of the school (Addison Street/South Side of school).
- Drop off is available on the back side of the school (Ostego Street/North Side of school).
- At our parent run drop off zone, there is a designated lane and a staff member/parent will retrieve your child from your vehicle and lead them to the playground entrance.
- Please respect the safe system we have set up and pay attention to the parent volunteers as they help get your children safely onto the school grounds.
- Remember... do not drive thru or park in the teacher's parking lot, do not stop in crosswalks, do not make U-Turns and do not double park in front of the school.

In cooperation with LAPD and Parking Enforcement the city will be videotaping offenders and issuing citations. We strive to create a safe environment here, and together we can do it!
