Registration is open for session 4.  All classes must be registered and paid for online by 4/6/19.  If you need additional assistance, email enrichment@encinoelementary.net.  Thank you!  

 

Please read these instructions before starting the registration process. 

1. Please choose your classes below, for one child only. You may choose more than one class for your student, but please make sure that they do not occur on the same day. The system will not correct you if you make this mistake.  NOTE:  You can search for classes by day if you enter the day of the week in the Search by field below.

2. To select a class for your child, please enter the quantity "1". Once you've made your selections, click "Continue" and enter all the required information for that child - name, teacher, afterschool program, etc. Please verify that you have entered your contact information carefully, because we will use it if we need to provide you with information about a class in which your child is registered.

3. Proceed to checkout and pay for classes using a credit card.  Do not combine your enrichment purchases with other website purchases.  If you are purchasing classes for more than one child, you must register and pay for each child separately.

Professor Egghead Astronauts (Monday 2:45-3:45)

Blast off this session with the Egghead Astronaut Crew as we explore the far reaches of our universe. Students will set off rockets, make huge chemical reactions, make lava slime, look for life and rocks on other planets, recycle water in space, and make out of this world volcanoes on their way to becoming astronauts! The best part? They get to take home their experiment every week! All Eggheads will get their Astronauts ID card, and at the end of the session, they’ll also get their official Astronaut degree, authorizing them to explore the universe!

Young Ninjas: The Confident Eagle (Tuesday 1:45-2:45)

Have you ever wanted to learn how to actually play Pokémon the trading card game? When you join Mr. Rodriguez in the Pokémon Club not only will you learn how to play but you will also be allowed to trade cards with your friends. If you do not have Pokémon cards, don't worry. Mr. Rodriguez has decks built and ready for battle. Pokémon Club will be a great experience for the young Pokémon trainers.

Sewing & Embroidery (Friday 2:45-3:45)

Learn to hand sew and embroider with Miss Shannon’s Sewing Class! Children will learn how to sew on a button, the running stitch, back stitch and chain stitch. Patching and embellishing clothing is also taught by bringing in different projects to teach each skill. Projects include an apple fabric pillow, a doll with clothes that teach basic clothing construction with a skirt, shirt and little pants. Embroidery project is a llama that teaches four different stitches, easy enough for young ones with a basic back stitch, able to advance older students by teaching them the satin stitch, french knot and daisy stitch. All materials are pre-cut and provided. Sewing kits include a canvas bag with 15 skeins of thread, pins, needles, scissors and an embroidery hoop, all inside a bright blue canvas bag.
