Our Impact
The E-TEAM takes your generous donations and provides funding for various programs and activities to support Encino Charter Elementary. Below are just some of our projects that YOU have made possible.

01

P.E. with Coach D'Mitri
Your generosity supports providing P.E. with our beloved Coach D'Mitri who has been a part of our Encino Community since 2007! Encino Charter's program promotes fitness, teamwork, and a love for movement. Students engage in sports and games that develop motor skills and healthy habits in a supportive environment.
02
Viridian Art Program
Viridian art program is designed to inspire creativity and self discovery among students. Through a variety of hands-on activities, children explore different media, such as painting, drawing, and sculpture. This program encourages appreciation for diverse artistic styles, while also fostering thinking and problem-solving skills. By providing a supportive environment, students gain confidence in their abilities and develop a lifelong love for the arts.
We are excited to welcome Miss Alexis to our school!

STEM Lab
Our new STEM lab is a vibrant, hands-on space where creativity and innovation come to life! Students dive into exciting projects like crafting, coding, and building using a wide range of tools and materials. With areas for both collaboration and independent work, they’re encouraged to think critically, solve problems, and have fun. Through our partnership with Study Smart Tutors, we’ve taken our STEM program to the next level -offering even more opportunities to learn, explore, and grow.

Enrich LA
Garden Program
Through our partnership with EnrichLA, the Garden Ranger Program brings hands-on, STEM-based learning to life at Encino Charter. Each week, a trained Garden Ranger visits campus to guide students in exploring our vibrant school garden. With a cheerful, easy-to-follow curriculum, students dig into topics like plant science, sustainability, and healthy eating, all while getting their hands dirty! EnrichLA provides everything needed, including tools, seedlings, and soil amendments, while the Garden Ranger tends to the garden and leads interactive lessons during their weekly half-day visits.

Promethean Boards
These interactive whiteboards feature large touchscreens and educational software that make lessons more engaging, dynamic, and hands-on for students. Thanks to the generous support of our community, this year we were able to purchase 12 boards for classrooms in Grades 1–3, fulfilling a long-standing wish from our teachers. Our goal for next year is to fund 12 additional boards so that every classroom at Encino can benefit from this technology.
