The E-TEAM takes your generous donations and provides funding for various programs and activities to support Encino Charter Elementary. Below are just some of our projects that YOU have made possible.

P.E. with Coach D'Mitri
Your generosity supports providing P.E. with our beloved Coach D'Mitri who has been a part of our Encino Community since 2007! Encino Charter's program promotes fitness, teamwork, and a love for movement. Students engage in sports and games that develop motor skills and healthy habits in a supportive environment.

Viridian Art Program
Viridian art program is designed to inspire creativity and self discovery among students. Through a variety of hands-on activities, children explore different media, such as painting, drawing, and sculpture. This program encourages appreciation for diverse artistic styles, while also fostering thinking and problem-solving skills. By providing a supportive environment, students gain confidence in their abilities and develop a lifelong love for the arts.

STEM Lab - Mad Science & Computerwise
For the 2026-2027 year, we are bringing in two new programs to enhance our STEM program.

Mad Science provides interactive elementary workshops that are designed to support STEM learning objectives and are correlated to grade-level curriculum standards. Each workshop includes engaging demonstrations, hands-on activities, professional lesson plans, and pre- and post-activity guides to help reinforce key science concepts in an exciting and memorable way.

Computerwisekids, Inc. will provide a comprehensive technology enrichment program aligned with California State Standards, integrating digital creativity, coding, programming, and hands-on robotics projects to promote problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.

Enrich LA
Garden Program
Through our partnership with EnrichLA, the Garden Ranger Program brings hands-on, STEM-based learning to life at Encino Charter. Each week, a trained Garden Ranger visits campus to guide students in exploring our vibrant school garden. With a cheerful, easy-to-follow curriculum, students dig into topics like plant science, sustainability, and healthy eating, all while getting their hands dirty! EnrichLA provides everything needed, including tools, seedlings, and soil amendments, while the Garden Ranger tends to the garden and leads interactive lessons during their weekly half-day visits.

Promethean Boards
These interactive whiteboards feature large touchscreens and educational software that make lessons more engaging, dynamic, and hands-on for students. Thanks to the generous support of our community and the Encino Neighborhood Council, in the 2025-2026 school year, we were able to purchase a board for every K-5 classroom. We were also able to supply our TK classrooms with brand new projectors.
