CAMPUS BEAUTIFICATION DAY
On Saturday, November 16th from 9:00am-11:00am, the E-Team is organizing one of many Campus Beautification Days for Encino Charter Elementary. We hope this will be a tradition for our school and we are asking for your help!
For this 1st Beautification Day, we have identified some areas that need some TLC (tender loving care) and maintenance work that we hope that can be accomplished with your help during this first day.
TO DO:
- Power washing walls, floors (lunch area, kinder playground, small courtyard area)
- Planter box around trees (paint)
- Repaint sheds (kinder area)
- Paint metal sheet on kinder area into a chalkboard for kiddos to draw on
- Painting benches in small yard
We have put out a formal asks to neighborhood paint and home improvement business to help sponsor our Campus Beautification efforts but in the meantime, here is how you can help:
WE NEED:
- Power washer (borrow)
- Paint & paint supplies(brushes, drop cloth, painters tape, sand paper, trays)
- ABC & 123 stencils
- Contractor Service Advice
- Volunteers - (a family affair!)
- In-Kind and/or monetary donations (earmarked for Beautification efforts)
